All interstate wine shipments originate from our Washington, DC fulfillment center. See bottom of page for authorized ship-to destinations.

Wine Selection:
Many of our wines are available at all Best Cellars locations. While we work hard to get you what you want, some wines are market specific and not available everywhere. If a wine is not available for interstate shipping, we can make an appropriate substitution or place a special order if possible.

We ship via FedEx Express and FedEx Ground
Follow these few easy steps to calculate your shipping cost which is determined by delivery service, destination and weight.

3) Enter ship-to destination in the "To Zip Code" field
4) Enter the weight of the wine
Here are approximate weights for reference:
* One bottle: 3 lbs.
* Six bottles: 19 lbs.
* Twelve bottles: 38 lbs.
5) Select "Use an already scheduled pickup" from the "Pickup/Dropoff" menu
6) Click "Get quick quote" to see the estimated cost
Unless specifically requested to do so, we will not ship wine during extreme weather conditions and are not responsible for wine damaged due to such conditions.
The Fine Print:
You must be 21 years of age or older to order and receive wine. An adult signature is required at time of delivery.
When ordering wine for shipping, you authorize Best Cellars, Inc. to engage a common carrier to deliver the wine on your behalf. The purchaser is solely responsible for any shipment made by Best Cellars, Inc. Best Cellars, Inc. does not, as a condition of sale, assume any obligation nor bear any responsibility whatsoever for applying or obtaining any permits or licenses. Each state regulates the laws of wine shipping differently. By utilizing our service, the purchaser is agreeing to comply with their local and state laws regarding the purchase, transportation and delivery of wines including any limitations on the amount of alcoholic beverage one may purchase and bring into their jurisdiction. You are advised to investigate such limitations and to determine the manner in which alcoholic beverages may lawfully be brought into your state.
The purchaser is solely responsible for obtaining permits (if required) and paying any fees and other taxes in order to take possession of the wine if the wine is sent to a state outside of Washington DC, Virginia or New York. All purchases shipped within Washington, DC, Virginia or New York are subject to all applicable local taxes.
